Uinta Brewing

Think about beer culture, what comes to mind? Portland, OR? Denver, CO? What about Salt Lake City, UT? It might be one of the last states you’d anticipate housing a nationally recognized brewery, but SLC is where Uinta Brewing calls home. After a pretty dramatic visual update to their packaging, Uinta came to us to bring their new look to the web. I was heavily involved with physically bringing this beast to life, collaborating with my fellow design team, production design, assisting the dev team and ultimately training the client on how to populate the site with all their colorful content moving forward. The result? An informative, adventure driven, brewery site like nothing else in the wild.

Mobile First

Uinta's Marketing team was heavily involved in the evolution of this site. They continue to conduct regular focus groups, study analytics and the way people "shop" the beer aisle. In a world with hundreds of "craft" and microbrews popping up, how do you stay relevant. Redesign the packaging? Make info easily accessible both of the physical can and also on the web. Streamline the user-experience so consumers aren't struggling to figure out if they're going to hate the flavor profile of this $12 6-pack. It's a tough one but we think clear, illustrative graphics in tandem with subtle animations absolutely help.
